The screen is crisp and dead-on accurate against my kitchen thermometer, so I can finally trust what the Arc is reading. Took just a pair of AAs and it fired up instantly, no fiddly setup. Glad I grabbed a spare since this thing gets daily use.
Bought this as a backup for my Arc since the original display got scratched up. The unit itself is identical to the one that came with it, and the batteries are easy to swap out when they run low. Good to have a spare on hand.
