The 172mm height is spot on—fits perfectly into the top of the dome without any wobble. I've had it in place for a week now and the flue top and cap sit flush, exactly as described.
Bolted it in this morning and the whole chimney setup finally sits flush with the flue top and cap. The 172mm height is exactly what was missing when I rebuilt my Dome — no more gaps or wobble. Genuinely impressed with how snug it locks into place.
