The wheels rolled smoothly right out of the box, and I appreciate that the brakes engage with a simple press instead of fumbling for a lever. They click into place firmly, which makes me confident the stand won't budge when I need it still.
The press foot brakes lock firm on my hardwood floors with a single stomp, and these castors roll much quieter than the cheap wheels I was using before. I bought these as spares for a second stand, and they fit perfectly with no wobble.
