We've had heavy storms the past two weeks and not a drop of water has gotten into the flue since I snapped this cap on. The fit is snug enough that it hasn't budged in the wind, which was my main worry.

It fits perfectly over the flue and does exactly what it’s supposed to—kept everything bone dry through a couple of heavy downpours. The metal feels sturdy and the fit is snug enough that I don’t worry about it rattling in the wind.

After a stormy week, it's a relief to check the flue and see it's completely dry, and the cap's simple design makes it easy to pop on and off when I need to use the stove. Definitely worth grabbing as a backup spare, even if it usually comes with the original unit.
