The magnetic locking mechanism on this Gen 2 is way smoother than I expected, and the deeper bowl catches ash without any spillage. Setting it down and picking it up feels completely solid now. Exactly the precision I was hoping for with the updated design.

Took me a second to figure out the new indexing system, but once it clicked, the precision is unreal. The Gen 2 module locks in so cleanly that I don't have to fiddle with it mid-session. Definitely worth the upgrade.
